Have you ever heard a song(s) that really just hits home with you? I drove up to Rockford (Belvidere, IL) yesterday and heard plenty of them. And by hitting home, I don't even necessarily mean the words. To me, there are just certain songs that go right to your heart. If you get a chance, you've got to listen to Sweet Talking Woman by ELO. Sick! I know it sounds ridiculous, but I heard it after one of my datenights and then again on my way up here yesterday, so I'm definitely going to be picking up a greatest hits album for the trip home tomorrow night. Now that I mention it, I'm going to put it on right now.
Update on the No Host Party last Thursday. Once again, it was a success. Great time with great people. Unfortunately, came away empty handed, but laid the groundwork for the next one.
I'm on vacation for most of this week visiting with my brother, sister-in-law, and new nephew, so my blogs may be slacking. If you've got one of those songs that just gets ya, let me know. Other than that, enjoy the week, and you'll be hearing from me on Wednesday.
