The Lights

As you may have guessed, my week has been dominated by Friday Night Lights. I've been watching 3-4 episodes a night and honestly could probably do 6-7. Last night, I kept telling myself, "one more" each new episode I let play along. Because it's so dreary outside today, I may go for the 5-6 mark. Usually I get home from work around 6 or 630 and don't start viewership til the 8 or 9 mark, so today could be an epic FNL marathon of sorts. Please believe that I will keep you updated.

I had to post the lovely Aimee Teegarden who plays Julie Taylor on the show for my boy Yorko. She has grown on me in the ten or so episodes i've seen faster than Kelly Taylor did on 90210. She seems so real and has some real spunk. On my FNL power rankings, she's moved up to #2 right behind Lyla Garrity (for the record, i can't see Lyla ever losing the #1 spot). She also turned 18 today, so I feel comfortable posting her pic on here now!

On another note, I visited the eye doctor for an exam and he dialated my pupils. When I signed in, I checked the box that said it would be okay to do, but didn't think they would do that unless I had glaucoma or something. My eyes never turned blurry which completely threw the lady helping out off. She was like, "are your eyes blurry? Can you read this book?" She kept second guessing me and stuff, like she didn't know what do do! It was almost like before the first time I drank and didn't know how I was supposed to feel. Fortunately the blurriness never came, but my pupils were huge! I kept looking in the mirror and cracking up; i looked completely strung out. I think I'll check the other box next time I go back to the eye doctor.
